Industrial grade granular caustic-soda is a solid alkaline compound, its chemical name is sodium-hydroxide (NaOH), also known as soda ash or caustic-soda. Compared with ordinary soda ash, industrial grade granular caustic-soda is usually in granular or small ball form, which is easier to store and use. It is an important industrial raw material and is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, textile, papermaking and other fields.

Application

Granular caustic-soda is mainly used as a chemical raw material, an important chemical basic raw material, and has a wide range of uses.

1. In the chemical industry, it is used to make borax, sodiumcyanide, formicacid, oxalic acid, ph-enol, soap, synthetic fatty acids, synthetic detergents, etc.
2. In the textile printing and dyeing industry, it is used as a desizing agent, scouring agent, mercerizing agent for cotton cloth, and a solvent for reducing dyes and Haichang blue dyes.
3. In the smelting industry, it is used to make aluminum hydroxide, aluminum oxide, and metal surface treatment agents.
4. In the instrument industry, it is used as an acid neutralizer, decolorizer, and deodorizer. In the adhesive industry, it is used as a starch gelatinizer and neutralizer.
5. In addition, it is widely used in enamel, medicine, cosmetics, leather, coatings, pesticides, glass and other industries.
