It is a metabolic product of organisms.

Industrial application:
Oxalic acid is mainly used as reducing agent and bleach, used in the production of antibiotics, bor neol and other drugs, and extract rare metal solvent, dye reducing agent, tanning agent and so on. It is also used for metal and marble cleaning, textile bleaching, rare earth element extraction .
Organic synthesis:
Oxalic acid is used in the organic synthesis industry to produce hydro quinone, pentaery thritol, cobalt oxalate, nickel oxalate and other chemical products, as well as polyvinyl chloride, amino plastics in the plastics industry .
Other applications:
